The sunrises and sunsets are awesome and the circadian rhythm element which you can control through their app is so cool – unlike any other light I have have seen! A little lamp that does it all! I got this lamp to help dispel my yearly bout of Seasonal Effective Disorder (SAD). I placed it at the corner of my desk in my living room at the beginning of winter, ready to take SAD by the horns. What I did not expect was how much I would come to enjoy this lamp! During the day, it provides me with the right light to improve my alertness and serves as lighting for my never-ending zoom calls. In the evenings, it adds to my living room hygge with the low color temperature. My SAD this year has not been as bad as it usually is and while I am a believer in a comprehensive, holistic approach and don’t think there is a one-stop solution- I do think that the Skyview had a major part to play in reducing my SAD.!
Great way to wake up I got this for my two young daughters (6yo and 9yo) who were having a rough time waking up each morning. It’s been a month since I’ve had it and I have noticed a considerable improvement in their moods in the morning. They are both much happier and motivated to get ready in the morning.
Brighter Days! We purchased this light to help alleviate the short, grey winter days in the northern Idaho/Canadian border area where we live. The Bios SkyView helps tremendously to mimic the natural color and longer days of summer! Longer brighter days make the grey winter much more tolerable….purchasing a second one soon!
Transformative I am 78 and my son-in-law gave me this SkyView Wellness Lamp. Firstly, I am amazed at how beautiful it is with the color gradients. I was in the US Airforce and it reminds me of the pure colors you see at altitude. From a wellness perspective it has improved my sleep and in particular my alertness at the end of the day. It is joy to have in my house. I recommend this to anyone who spends a lot of time indoors and understands the benefits of being outside even when it is 10º.
Surprising and Mesmerizing I was skeptical at first but I am a believer now. I have the lamp in my home office and could feel my alertness increase after working under it just a few minutes. I thought maybe it was just in my head, trying to justify the expense, but day after day I get the same amazing feeling. After several days I noticed I was sleeping better at night also. Again, thought it was just in my head, but I now I believe that part too and would not go back to working inside without it. I love to watch the sunrise and sunsets also, sometimes I will take a break and trigger one on the app and watch it just for a fun distraction.
